Telford Diving and Rescue unit is composed of 100% Volunteers on call 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, ready to serve, protect, and assist, the community. Over the years we have handled calls requiring our unique skills and specialized gear from as far west as Pittsburgh to the jersey shore. We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, we rely almost 100% on fundraising events and donations. Please support our organization with your tax-deductible donation. Your donation will be used to help fund ongoing operations, purchase new dive and rescue gear, and maintain existing equipment, trucks, boats, and pay for advanced training so important to serving the community and keeping our members safe.

Material and infrastructure requests

Any material donation can be tax deductible as well, we’ll give you a receipt for the value of the item.

Our wish list:

1. A new office computer and printer/scanner

2. Any Dive Gear, even though we do often dive unit supplied surface supplied commercial gear our members often use their own personal in conjunction with unit gear

3. A replacement aluminum boat, a large bass boat type boat, ours is starting to show its age and it’s an important workhorse for us.

4. A pontoon boat, this could be an important stable flat working platform for staging dives and operating our various sonar search devices.

5. A late model or new jet drive outboard motor.

6. A whole house/unit generator and switch gear, any size. Ironically as the weather seems to get worse and blackouts more frequent that is when our services are needed most.

7. Small Honda or Generac 1,000 watt generator to power our search gear while on the water.

8. Antique dive gear, have an old navy dive helmet or other gear? We use it at events to teach about the history of diving. Again we can give you a tax receipt for your donation.
